Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all goods and services purchased comply with company policies and procedures
  • Receives approved Purchase Requisition from requestors
  • Compare prices, specifications and delivery dates to determines the best bid among potential suppliers
  • Prepare and process Price comparison of canvassed goods and services
  • Prepare Purchase Orders and send copies through email to suppliers and departments/project site originating requests
  • Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations (includes importation of goods and services)
  • Perform buying duties when necessary
  • Track the status of requisition, contracts (if applicable) and orders
  • Coordinate the CFO for any vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers
  • Coordinate with supplier of any off-specification of materials, suppliers or office equipment’s as reported from requestors

 

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • A graduate of Industrial or Civil engineering with extensive background in procurement or Purchasing
  • with 3 years of experience as Procurement in-charge in the construction industry
  • Proficient in MS Office applications like Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Has the ability to collaborate or work well in team settings
  • Must be detail-oriented and be able to work with a volume of tasks in as fast paced environment
  • Must be process-oriented
  • Has good leadership and communication skills
  • Passionate in his/her assigned work
